Welcome to the 50-kilometer race presented by Kreissparkasse Ostalb, your local financial partner. The loop course takes you over the three Kaiser Mountains: Hohenstaufen, Rechberg, and Stuifen, with the start and finish at the Großsporthalle in Schwäbisch Gmünd. All finishers will receive a medal upon crossing the finish line, and the winners will be honored at 4:30 PM in the Großsporthalle. The race offers a return bus option from the District Office Rechberg.

Highlights

  • Since 1991, the ultramarathon has attracted hundreds of runners to Schwäbisch Gmünd every year in golden October.
  • The 50-kilometer course can be completed as an individual runner or as a team.
  • Places 1 to 3 will receive cash prizes as well as bonuses for times under 3:20 for men and 4:00 for women.
